Hey everyone,
I am throwing around the idea of creating a software distribution package that contains multiple installs (we have a set of applications that we install on all domain computers). Is this possible using Software Distribution?
Next, I receive an error when I try to select an executable for a package. For example, the path to the install is "http://Server.internal.company.com/dsl/packages/windows/package/package.exe". We try to create a new distribution package but when we select the blue arrow next to the path we receive the error "The remote server return an error: (403) Forbidden". Oddly enough, this hasn't mattered in the past because the packages have been fine (no failed installs). Now, we are looking to include multiple installs per package. If we select 'Additional Files" and try to select the path to the exes we get the error again, thus not allowing us to choose multiple installs.
The perms on the folder are:
Administrators (Server\Administrators) FULL
Internet Guest Account (Server\IUSR_Server)
Launch IIS Process Account (Server\IWAM_Server)
The share permissions of the root folder is set to Everyone:FULL.
Ayone else experiencing the issue? Thanks for any insight.
